DNSerrano! My Top 3 YouTube Vids

Alright guys so I'm posting this up because I thought it would be nice for people to see that this is really me, and not someone else that is somehow affiliated with DNSerrano! Sooo, with that being said I am doing this blog post on my top 3 vids so far that people have liked and enjoyed. 2 out of the 3 guest star (LOL) my girlfriend Becca, while the last video update I take a better approach at my vids by finally providing some content. Well I hope you guys like it, and if you just happen to have a YouTube account you can definitely subscribe to me, thumb it up (eww), and tell all your friend about it! As always thank you and enjoy!!

In this video I started my two part Halloween 2010 series with a BANG!...

This one Becca makes more of an appearance and adds flare with a bit of Jamaican accent to the mix.

In this video I get more organized and my jokes are pretty hilarious (ABOUT DAMN TIME SLACKER!) PLUS I introduce the DNSerrano! intro complete with cool lil song and an ever changing phrase

DJ Fresh - Gold Dust Remix

This is a Gold Dust remix by Flux Pavilion, kinda like a very mature audience Dubstep. Hope you guys enjoy it!

We Got That (Gretzky)

Not a newcomer on the scene but he's definitely been in the shadows (well maybe Cam'Rons), Jim Jones has released about two singles this year for his upcoming album entitled CAPO. The 1st of which is Blow My Smoke, is featured in the album. A second single We Got That (Gretzky) is completely promotional. After having breakout success on his third studio album Hustler's P.O.M.E. (Product Of My Environment) he showed fans and haters alike that he could flex his lyrical muscles and provide great East Coast music. While his 4th album Pray IV Reign garnered generally mixed to bad reviews, he has still pushed on teaming up with DJ Webstar for The Rooftop. This, and the reunion of the Dipset label (Cam'Ron, Juelz Santana, and Jim Jones) has fueled him to dish out another serving of what is Jimmy... the CAPO album; soon to be out by December 7th, 2010.

For your hearing pleasure, here is Jim Jones in We Got That (Gretzky) prod. by Lex Luger

Throwback Tuesday Pt.3

2Pac Shakur - California Love! Oh we're getting it in in todays Throwback Tuesday! Enjoy!

Mt. Eden's Dubstep

This track is entitled Sierra Leone. It's very nice and laid back, and it's a change if you like to listen to dubstep. Recently I've been looking more and more into YouTube and other media outlets for dubstep and these guys, Mt. Eden hailing from New Zealand have found a winning combination of using live instruments, vocals, and the always needed dubstep wub wub wub sound. Check them out if you like the track, I believe they are unsigned but independent is always the way to go!

Holster Gun Shirt

These are by a French-Canadian shop, called Rita. It's very interesting, they use one color process on the shirt and make it out of vectors and come out with one image. Check out this shirt. Make sure not to wear it to the airport/club spot though! Shipped to the US from Canada is about $12 dollars, making this shirt a good $50 something dollars. Expensive, but you pay for great quality.

Stunnaman Legendary Mixtape

Another one from the West Coast, this time it's Stunnaman from The Pack with his latest mixtape entitled Legendary, check out the intro track, along with two other party/club songs on the mixtape.

Feelin' Myself!

Nipsey Hussle, one of the newest MC's to hit the music scene and shake up L.A. hip-hop, has just dropped a banger of a club song. Feelin' Myself featuring Lloyd came out last month (September) and it's making it's way through the channels. If you don't know who Nipsey is, he could be considered a younger version of Snoop by the way his looks and demeanor go, but he is far from him. Growing up in Slaunson, in the City of Crenshaw, Nipsey like in most rappers situation was in and out of jail. Being in the Rollin' 60's Crip gang didn't make it better but he soon found out that a good way of making money might just be by telling stories of his life, what has affected him most, and how to get out of poverty and make it in life by the use of his last name. Hussle. Check out his mixtapes and his forthcoming album South Central State of Mind dropping December 21st!

Black and Yellow!

The pittsburgh pirate, Wiz Khalifa, delivers a new hit with a track called "Black and Yellow" now out on iTunes and other music sites. This song is definitely more hype than his last few (see This Plane and Name on a Cloud) and the lyrics and chorus are catchy, very well versed for a guy who is still pretty unknown to the mainstream masses. Check out his mixtape Burn After Rolling and his 2nd album Deal or No Deal for more of his music. Thus far he is one of the many new school cats who can rhyme very well while keeping all eyes on him. Let's see what the future has in store!

Fred Flintstone Takes A Sh!t

My pops bought this today, it's hilarious!

Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy

It's Over, so says Styles P!

Veteran rapper and D Block/ Ruff Ryder artist Styles P had released a mixtape a while back called "The Ghost Dub-Dime". I'll tell you what it flew right past me these last few months that I JUST caught the smoke trail (no pun intended, lol!) from it. Like always, the Phantom always delivers when it comes to his hip hop. The music is fresh, picked from various up and coming producers such as: Tyler Woods, Street Radio, Don Joe, and Ceasar Prods. Now unlike his other mixtapes in the last year or so, this one has about 2 guest appearances. The bulk of the project is all him. If you're into NY Gangsta/Real Talk Rap and you liked his guest bit in Rick Ross' latest single "Blowin Money", you should def pick this up! Plus it's a mixtape so yeah, 9 times out of 10 it just might be free!!

Here's something just in case you wanted a digital copy. Enjoy!

WINTERS MY SUMMER

Check out the brand-spankin' new single from rapper Sean Mims aka MIMS, entitled "Winters My Summer". He might be a one-hit wonder with "This is Why I'm Hot" but he's going for two on this one.

RATATAT LP4!

Man this album ALMOST slipped through my fingers since I have not heard anything from them since KiD CuDi's Man on the Moon album. Since they were only featured on a couple songs I figured they might have been cooking something up for the masses pretty soon. Well to get it poppin' the album starts off with a bang, as the first track basically lays down the awesome mood for the album. I got the album a couple of days ago and it doesn't dissappoint. Definitely something to look into if you like MGMT, MSTRKRFT, or those type of guitar/electronic bands. Anyway the video is below, check it out and tell me what you think about it. Definitely got some vuvuzela action going on at the start haha! Enjoy it guys and go grab the album/support!

TOP 5 HIP HOP INSTRUMENTALS TO RIP!

Alright so I'm an avid hip hop afficionado. I listen to it more than any other genre. It seems to me that in new hip hop the production values have gone waaaay up and the artists lyrics have turn from imaginative wordplay into lil kid lullabys. So I give you 5 of the most nicest instrumentals of 2009-10 and if you can spit hotness hey go ahead why not do a video of you freestyling it or recording over it. Here we go (in no particular order):

1. Chris Brown ft Tyga - Holla At Me

2. Yo Gotti - Women Lie, Men Lie

3. Gucci Mane ft OJ Da Juiceman - Gingerbread Man

4. Lloyd Banks ft Juelz Santana - Beamer, Benz, or Bentley

5. T.I. - I'm Back
